Flying South
A protected bird fly’s over gilded traps
These traps wait for the smallest hint of a touch
This bird knows of the danger below
So it does not follow it's own detrimental curiosity
Though the temptations of treading the line inches into flight
It is free and is believed to be by others
But there are many tones to the language of freedom and every sense of the word
What shall happen if it fly’s just a little too close to what it fears the most?
What will the end result be?
If the things it longed for changes the bird's emotions does that mean it has been flying too high?
Revenge is feared and jealousy is despised
What is hated and what is feared becomes one's companion in flight
