There is a fire that threatens to burn all of the hope inside me
There my waterfall dampens the very heart in me
I can't tell the world just who I really am
For they only like the smell of roses
I can't seem to speak the truths that make me a liar
I ride all day and try to sleep
While the sun beats down and tries to thaw my heart
I look through the glass of time
And see only the nostalgia eating me whole ... Alive
